Allalou Law

Soumia Allalou completed an Honours Bachelor of Arts at the University of Toronto with High Distinction in 2013. She was the recipient of the Graduation Prize in Political Science for her outstanding achievements and academic record as a member of the graduating class in the political science program. She went on to earn dual law degrees, in both Common Law and Civil Law from McGill University’s Faculty of Law in 2016. Prior to joining Kutty and Associates as an Associate Lawyer, Soumia summered and articled with Legal Aid Ontario, working extensively in both criminal defence and family law. As an articling student, she took on criminal defence litigation work at the Major Case Management Office, Duty Counsel services at Old City Hall courthouse, and family law litigation work at the Family Law Service Centre. Soumia successfully completed her licensing requirements and was called to the Bar of Ontario in June 2018. Soumia is fluent in English, French and Arabic and can provide legal services in both of Canada’s official languages. She has appeared before both the Ontario Court of Justice and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and focuses her practice in the areas of criminal defence, family, and civil litigation.
