My experience with Hull & Hull was subpar from start to finish. The handling of my matter lacked attention to detail, professionalism, and effective communication. At every stage, the process felt disorganized, and responses were delayed or inadequate. Instead of providing clear guidance, the firm created more confusion, making an already stressful legal matter even worse.Given Hull & Hull’s reputation, I expected a much higher standard of service, but unfortunately, that was not the case. I would not recommend this firm based on my experience.
I asked for a quote multiple times and was never given one before they started as they "needed to get more familiar". Then I was slapped with a 20 thousand dollar bill after they told me they'd eat up the entire estate and I took my business elsewhere. This bill was mostly phone calls which I was never told I'd be charged for. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Law firm over charged for basically just sending emails. Talked a big game, but didn't come close to delivering anything.
Our experience with this firm was not positive. We worked with two different lawyers. The first one talked the talk, but there was no follow-up or deliverables, only excuses. After a year into the case, the second lawyer couldn't get the parties' names correct, including his clients', and needed to be reminded who the opposing counsel was. There were many other blunders, even more severe.If you happen to find yourself embroiled in estate litigation, it will be one of the most stressful experiences that you will ever go through. Search for a firm that is going to make you feel confident and relieve stress, not cause you more. Spend a lot of time upfront to find someone that you can trust and know will work on your behalf, and not just "call it in." A good firm should make you feel confident that things are under control, not leave you wondering what the hell is going on. Using this firm only created more stress and anxiety for us.
We met with them regarding a contentious will challenge, meeting with one of their their top people. The answers to our questions were firmly and politely dealt with, not candy coated. Our costs and risks going forward were clearly explained so we can pick our best option.Yes they are expensive but worth it.
For a consultation , I gave them a list of questions to answer sequentially, but they stopped short, and erroneously referred me to the Emergency clause in the will which had a much higher threshold requirement than they let on.How much more simple can it be, to answer a list of questions for $1000. But they failed!!
I've twice referred people to Hull & Hull, and both matters were resolved quickly and with a great result. Their reputation is top-notch and it carries a lot of weight -- and for good reason.
